I decided to create this Morning Berry Booster smoothie as I was searching for a breakfast smoothie that was full of nutrients, was rich in healthy fats to keep me full and that was also enough of a smoothie to satisfy me until lunch.
I also wanted one that would help repair my muscles after my morning workout and refuel me for my day. Not too much to ask really (haha).
And that’s how my Morning Berry Booster was created.
It’s quickly become my favourite way to start the day as it’s light enough to have first thing in the morning. It always fills me up and surprisingly keeps me going until lunch.

Extra Tips
This smoothie makes 2 serves. So, what I like to do is have some in the morning and the rest a little later as an afternoon snack. You could even stir in a few teaspoons of chia seeds or rolled oats for the afternoon drink to make it into a delicious chia bircher bowl. A great way to use it up, while also keeping things exciting.
To make this, simply stir in your oats and chia seeds into your smoothie jar, top with any extra fruit or nuts and then let it set for a few minutes. This will last really well in the fridge so you could easily whip it up in the morning for later that day.
